Kids discover 7-year-old neighbor stole their toys, they exposer her thievery to the whole neighborhood: 'She lost all her toys and all her friends"

Not every kid in the neighborhood is destined to be your friend. An important learning lesson in anyone's childhood is to accept the fact that some people do not enjoy spending time together, but as long as everyone is treated with respect, there should be no harm, no foul. That being said, if someone begins to test that mutual respect, you cannot let people walk all over you. Unfortunately, that would be a life lesson that many adults still have yet to learn.

Here, we have more than just a disrespectful kid who lives down the road. This kid's way of showing disrespect was a bizarre entitlement to other people's belongings. In short, she quickly became the neighborhood thief, and she needed to be stopped.

  • We have to hand it to the author of this story who, even at seven years old, had the empowered sense of self and the moral backbone to know that she was in the right and that her neighborhood frenemy needed to be called out for her thieving behavior. When you're a kid and there's any conflict, it's inevitable that parents are going to get involved. This seven-year-old was clever enough to use that knowledge to her advantage.

    This guy was livid. He yells for them to go home and then asks us, kids if we have room for all those toys. Now I am pretty sure now looking back he knew only a tenth of the toys were actually ours and that technically we had stolen her toys.

    Of course, we found room. We did, however, let her brother go threw them. and when the kids who lived a few doors down found out via her brother about our toys found in her toy box they asked to look threw. In the end, she lost all her toys and all her friends.
